Hi Everyone!
Day 2 of Coordinator Confab took place in the exquisite Garden Room and Garden Terrace of the SLS Hotel. All of the attendees were refreshed, excited, and energized (after our fabulous breakfast!) and we began Day 2 with a session with Carrie Chen and Jeannie Savage of Details Details reviewing the essentials of the Planner Form and crucial components of a Timeline. Following the careful instruction of wedding fashion designer, Michelle Rahn we then learned how to tie bow ties, ties, sew buttons, pin boutonnieres, and even mend a veil!
Lunch was served outside in the Garden Terrace and fortunately for us, Summer Watkins of Grey Likes Weddings graced us with her presence as our special lunch guest giving all the attendees some of her secret tips to success!
Following lunch, Jeannie Savage took over and exposed some of her trade secrets on what every coordinator should know and do to ensure a smooth execution on the Wedding Day. The attendees were then educated on the proper coordination of a rehearsal via a mock rehearsal out in the Garden Terrace. We then heard from two fantastic and very inspirational wedding photographers, Jessica Claire and Christopher Becker who shared with us some things wedding coordinators should know when working with wedding photographers (important stuff!) Sunny Ravanbach and her team from White Lilac Inc. also designed and set up a spectacular table top for our final Confab Dinner which our lovely Jessica Claire shot while all of the attendees had a chance to observe and learn about the components of a real style shoot! During the set up and shoot, Giancarlo from Revelry Event Designers also surprised us with his visit! Be sure to check back when we run the the full feature on the Coordinator Confab Tabletop Shoot!
As with any large production, it took the hard work and time of many people to put together Coordinator Confab so we just wanted to take the time to recognize some of the amazing friends we have in the industry who helped us to make our vision a reality.
